My hometown is only famous for a few things. One of them was a murder in the 70’s where a failed accountant killed his family to “spare” them the misery of having an out of work father. Our shop teacher in middle school used to tell us at least once a week about how he left John List Jr.’s project on the their front doorstep that day.
